Reviewing the experiences on the
large-scale earthquake in the Hanshin-Awaji region and the East
Japan region, Shin-ei Real Estate Business Co., Ltd. established
Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to prepare for execution of
business operation upon the large-scale disasters. |

1. Basic Policy | |
(1) | To execute the activities giving top priority to human lives. |
(2) | To recover the function of the company immediately, to confirm situation of buildings of customers, and then to carry out the management operation. |
(3) | To prevent the
secondary disaster, and to support recovery or restoration of
the damaged area. |
2. Purpose | |
We try best to continue the preferential
tasks by the persisting resources and to resume the comprehensive
property management as soon as possible upon the large-scale
disasters. |

3. Countermeasures | |
(1) | To organize Emergency Management Headquarters (called HONBU) and establish the chain of command. |
(2) | To confirm the safety of employees and their family and fulfill the code of conduct. |
(3) | To confirm the damage situation of headquarters, branch offices and places where our employees are located. |
(4) | Fund raising for emergency. |
(5) | Prevention of secondary disaster. |
(6) | To confirm the damage situation of buildings of customers and to make the initial action for them. |
(7) | Cooperation with local citizens for regional contribution. |
(8) | To recover information system of our offices. |
4. Preliminary Measures | |
As preliminary measures, we carry out
the preparation of stock piles for disaster and emergency
supplies, the appropriate deployment of disaster dial
for security of communication, and the fall prevention by fixing
household articles equipment. |

As mentioned above, we decided the fundamental matters in case of the disaster, and developed manuals of each business in detail. Through the concrete training activities, we will verify our BCP and review it continuously. | |
